APB publishes Information and Statistics Bulletins for 2010

The 2010 Information and Statistics Bulletins are now available on the APB website.
Starting this year, Associação Portuguesa de Bancos (Portuguese Bank Association) will be issuing two different publications: the Information Bulletin and the Statistics Bulletin, starting with 2010. The Information Bulletin will be published annually and will describe and analyse the activities of the financial institutions belonging to the APB. The Statistics Bulletin will be published every six months with reference to 31 December and 30 June each year and will contain a compilation of basic financial and non- financial information about each institution.
The idea of this new Information Bulletin was to provide a more detailed, analytical overview of the activities of the APB's member institutions in order to make it more informative and of greater interest to its users. The bulletin thus seeks to take a broad, interpretative view of the activity of the APB's members within the framework of the legal, regulatory and macroeconomic context each year.
