About 80 students, selected from 40 schools nationwide, will try to become national champions of the European Money Quiz (EMQ) 2023.

The National Final of this competition takes place on the 22nd of March, during the European Money Week, at 11am and can be followed live on the APB Youtube channel.

During the session, students will have to answer 20 questions on topics such as economics, family budget management, investment and risk, means of payment or digital security.

The winners of the National Final win a direct ticket to the European Final, which this year takes place in Brussels, on the 15th and 16th of May and which will bring together the best of the best at European level. The schools placed on the podium will also receive a cash prize to invest in a financial education project.

This year, European Money Week, which is also in line with Global Money Week - promoted by the OECD-INFE - focuses on the theme 'Financial skills: Lighting the path to a sound financial future'. The current economic uncertainty, the acceleration of the digital economy and developments in the area of sustainability pose new challenges to financial education. Ensuring that citizens have the right skills to deal with financial issues is therefore a priority.
