The governing bodies of Associação Portuguesa de Bancos (APB Portuguese Banking Association) consist of the officers of the General Assembly, who are Chairperson and two secretaries, a Board of Directors with a Chairperson, a vice-chairperson and seven directors and a Supervisory Board, which has a chairperson and two members (one of whom must be a certified auditor). The members of the governing bodies are chosen from among the members by election by the General Assembly for three-year terms. The APB also has a statutory body, the Disciplinary Council.
